Feeder Plug Shipping Policy

Feeder Plug ships all live feeder insect orders once per week to ensure maximum freshness, proper packing conditions, and consistent delivery schedules. Please review the shipping timelines below to understand when your order will be sent out.

Weekly Shipping Schedule

Wholesale Orders – Mondays
All wholesale orders are packed and shipped every Monday. Any wholesale order placed after Sunday at 11:59 PM will ship the following Monday.

Retail Orders – Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Retail orders ship on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on order volume and inventory preparation.

Weekly Cutoff Time

The weekly cutoff for all orders is Wednesday at 8:00 AM (Central Time).
Any order placed after Wednesday at 8:00 AM will be held and shipped the following shipping week.

This cutoff ensures that live insects do not risk sitting in a carrier facility over the weekend, which protects the health and survival of your feeders.

Order Processing

• Orders placed before the cutoff enter the current week’s shipping cycle.
• Orders placed after the cutoff are automatically moved to the next week’s schedule.
• Tracking numbers are sent via email or SMS as soon as your package is scanned by the carrier.

Live Arrival Considerations

To reduce shipping delays and safeguard live insects, Feeder Plug only ships early in the week. Shipping later than Wednesday increases the risk of weekend carrier holds, extreme temperatures, and delivery failures.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information and retrieving packages promptly upon delivery.

Weather Delays

Severe weather, carrier interruptions, or unsafe temperature conditions may cause Feeder Plug to delay shipments to protect live insects. Any such delays will be communicated through email or SMS.
